"Whoever walks through Vienna touches countless destinies and everyday life. Tragedy and comedy lie side by side on the street corners. At some point I thought to myself: you have to write that down. For all the everyday poets out there." Andreas Rainer
Andreas Rainer has been listening to Vienna for four years now, collecting gems from the big city for his site Wiener Alltagspoeten. Now he has taken up the pen himself - and bought a ticket for the subway: In 17 stories to the beat of the U6, he paints a picture of a city where people throw pomp around while twenty meters away the world is already coming to an end.
