Ronja and Elio share a deep fascination for nature. Newly in love, they begin a life together in a small town at the foot of the Alps. But soon, they too are caught up in a phenomenon that has gripped the world for years: the random transformation of adults into trees. In her new novel, Alina Lindermuth paints a vision of the future that is both unsettling and comforting.
