Little Elfi is a prankster. Single-handedly, she makes her way through life resourcefully and with sometimes dishonest means. In her hometown Liebstatt am See, the girl is labeled as an oddball. Despite Elfi's efforts, the community does not want to accept her as one of them; she remains an outsider. Romina Pleschko paints a picture of the social structures of a small town and contrasts it with a heroine who is up to all the tricks.
